The Sts’ailes Recreation Banquet is on Thursday, February 10, 2011 @ 6:00 pm at the Sts'ailes Community Hall. Dinner will be provided.
Special invitation to all teams and individuals sponsored by the Sts'ailes Sports & Recreation Program over the last two years (Soccer Teams, Ball Hockey Teams, Canoe Pullers, etc.)
There will also be a slide show to highlight everyones successes in living a healthy physical lifestyle. If you have any pictures, please bring them to Margaret Daly at the Sts'ailes Band Office to have them included or e-mail them to margaret.daly@chehalisband.com.

On another note, the Chehalis Store & Gas Bar started a great incentive for our community members: Customer of the Month!
How it works is the next time you visit the Chehalis Store & Gas Bar, simply ask for your receipt, sign the bottom, and put it in our "customer box". Then at the end of the each month we will tally up all the entries. Our lucky winner with the most entries will receive a free hot dog special and have their picture posted at the store, in the newsletter and on the website for an entire month!
At the end of next year, calendars will be made with all our greatly appreciated winning customers! Just our way of saying "THANKS!" for shopping at the Chehalis Store & Gas Bar!

Hello Everyone. An Important Alert: A community elder received a phone call this morning from someone who claimed to work for Shaw Cable and that he was scheduled to come to the house to sweep her computer later that day at 3:00pm. A family member of the Elder phoned Shaw to inquire about the situation and Shaw replied that they had no one scheduled to come out and they do not offer such services. So it obvious this was a con artist who was hoping to get information from her computer to see if she does online banking or to simply enter the home to rob the Elder. So if any of your family members use Shaw as your internet provider, please tell them that Shaw does not offer these services. We have informed the police, but there is nothing they can do until someone is physically on the property. Please pass this message to your family and friends.
The Sts'ailes offices are open today, Thursday, January 13, 2011, including the Band Office, Chehalis Community School and Sts'ailes Early Education Centre. Everyone is advised to drive with caution due to the road conditions from the snow and rain.
