Hello Sts’ailes!
Just a friendly reminder that the nights are coming earlier and there are a limited number of street lights on the reserve, so if you are driving please drive at a safe speed and keep a lookout for community members walking along the road.
To those of you who are walking please be mindful that even though a vehicle has headlights it is still difficult to see at night, especially when it is raining. It is always good to wear reflective items such as reflective wrist or ankle bands or glow material or items that are available at dollar stores. At the very least it’s a good idea to wear bright clothing such as bright yellow or white.
So everyone walking and driving, don’t assume and be safe! Thank You!
